The Gotland Sheep is a unique sheep breed, closely related to the endemic Sheep Gute originating back to the times of the Vikings.

The colour of the Gotland Sheep is grey in different shades, from dark to light grey.The pelt is curly, shiny and silky soft. Head and the legs are black.

The sheep are kept to maintain the lanscape open.
